SEP. 6-MAY 16 NO SING AND PLAY: MAR. 7 and 28, APR. 18
Sing and Play is a parent-toddler class designed specifically for young learners, 18 months and older. During the class, children can sit comfortably on mom or dad's lap, and gently ease into a classroom-type setting. Through familiar, action based songs, short teacher-led stories, and object lessons, visual stimulation, and group participation, children begin the process of learning how to behave in a group setting and how to interact with children next to them. They grow in their ability to listen and attend and practice following directions and making predictions. Sing and Play sessions begin with a small group circle time and then move into large motor free play time utilizing gym equipment. Sing and Play is a free class that requires no registration or commitment. Come and play each week or whenever is convenient. Siblings are always welcome!
FRI., APR. 13, 11:30 AM
Preschool Splash gives prospective preschoolers and their parents a chance to get to know Immanuel's talented preschool staff, explore preschool classrooms, and interact in the preschool setting. Children will listen to a story, make a craft, and meet other children their age. Parents can talk with the principal and preschool teaching staff and learn how Immanuel can meet their child's needs and exceed their expectations.
"Each child is a special gift from God and is to be encouraged to develop socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, and spiritually, and accepting and affirming each child’s unique competence as a learner today."
