In addition to athletic oppportunities, clubs that take place during or after school provide opportunities for

complementing traditional education with life skills gleaned from working together to achieve goals.

Communications Club

This club provides middle school students with opportunities to share their God-given talents in written and oral communications. Students have opportunities to produce press releases, audio and video announcements, and a special project; collecting and merging information from a variety of sources.

Cub Scouts

Building on the long history of Troop 12 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Troop 912 Cub Scouts participate in Den and Pack meetings and a wide variety of service and learning opportunities. The highlight, of course, is the annual family Pinewood Derby event.

Student Council

Duly elected representatives from each class meet twice each month to consider student suggestions and develop concepts to support school spirit and unity.

Technology Club

Students in this club are instructed on safe and appropriate use of technology as well as the myriad ways computers postively impact our lives today.

Yearbook Club

Students are invited to be the creators of the school yearbook. Through this process they develop a sense for graphic design, the importance of communicating a message, and work with professional software provided by the school's yearbook production company.
